Sewn bindings will withstand the turning of pages and flexing of the spine that normal use will bring. I suggest that you not scrimp on quality when you buy a Bible since it will become a constant companion and you’ll want it to stand up under many years of solid use. You’ll also notice a variety of leather bindings, including bonded leather and genuine leather, as well as “leather-look-alike” products.
